I’ve been teaching yoga for several years, alongside teaching Pilates, and I also have worked as an elementary school teacher. Being an educator has really shaped the way I teach movement, I’m very patient and encouraging with beginners, but I also love finding ways to challenge students who are more experienced. Creating an environment where people feel comfortable, supported and empowered to explore their practice is really important to me!
Travel and wellness have also played a huge role in my journey as a teacher. I completed my yoga teacher training in the jungle in Costa Rica, have taught yoga in Thailand, and have had the opportunity to teach yoga and introduce Pilates in Nicaragua as well. I’ve also helped with hospitality and retreat experiences, so I understand that retreats are about so much more than simply leading a yoga class, it’s about creating a sense of community and making people feel connected to the place and experience.
With a passion for mindful movement and holistic wellness, I am so excited to create a welcoming space for students of all levels to explore the balance between strength and serenity. Rooted in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin, mat Pilates, and reformer Pilates my teaching focus is on breath, alignment, pelvic floor breathing, and self-awareness. I strive to help students cultivate both inner peace and physical vitality. I can’t wait to move and breathe with you!
